Ammon is a quaint city right along the edge of Idaho Falls, Idaho. Ammon is a beautiful and growing city and needed a website that would accommodate the needs of all its residents while still being neat and functional. We worked closely with Mayor Coletti and his team to bring a new look for their city to life.
Since they already had a logo, our designer worked with the elements in the logo to create rooftop and mountaintop shapes as designs on their site. This repetition of shapes helps reinforce brand consistency throughout the logo and the website.
Our photographer used drone photography to capture Ammon from the sky to give website visitors an idea of what Ammon looks like and its size. We incorporated the photos on the website to create unified banners and a bold homepage banner.
Since all types of users would be on the site, the navigation bar is quite varied, with pages for residents, businesses, departments, and visitors. This allows one website to cater to many different people and needs.
Something that makes this site different is the functionality that pulls their Facebook posts from their Facebook page to the homepage. This makes it easy for web visitors to see real-time communication between the city and its citizens.
After completing the City of Ammon website, we have designed the last two newsletters that they have sent to their residents with upcoming events and other news.
